I'm having the following problem with the Lightroom plugin:
I open an image for editing in Portraiture - I select "Edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments". File format TIFF, compression "none". Lightroom creates the TIFF files, and opens them in portraiture. I can confirm that the files created are uncompressed TIFFs. I do my work in portraiture and hit save. Portraiture then converts these files to LZW compressed TIFF files. For some reason, Lightroom has trouble understanding these TIFF files and reports that "The file is unsupported or damaged". I have to open them in Photoshop and re-save them as uncompressed TIFFs for Lightroom to be able to work with them. Why does Portraiture compress the TIFF images and is there any way to stop it? |
